The Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership received the 2024 Academy of Management's Evidence-Based Leadership Development Program Award in recognition of the Institute's holistic approach to leader character development. The award honours high-quality, evidence-based leadership development programs, and showcases innovative and effective strategies for developing future leaders.
Institute Executive Director Dusya Vera and Ivey faculty Oana Branzei co-edited two issues of the thought leadership journal Amplify ont he topic of character leadership and purpose. Entitle "Scaffolding Purpose: An Infrastructure of Humanity" and "Scaffolding Purpose in Times of Polycrisis", the two issues include a collection of 14 articles on Purpose and Leadership from innovative international authors.
Registration is open soon for our Spring 2025 Leader Character Practitioner Certification Program. Through this program you will take a deep dive into the Institute's renown research and develop the character and competence to become a subject matter expert in this area. Three modules will be delivered virtually over the course of 13 days using a “train-the-trainer” approach, beginning on April 15, 2025.
