That vision was to be the best business school in Canada and among the global leaders – and as it has reached those heights, the Iveys' pride in the School’s reputation has grown with it. The members of the Ivey Family continue to be not only generous donors, but notable alumni. Dick Ivey and his children, Richard W. Ivey and Rosamond Ivey, graduate from HBA programs. Along with his wife, Beryl Ivey, they are all awarded Honorary Doctor of Laws. In 1995, Ivey honours its relationship with the Ivey family by renaming the School after Richard G. Ivey.

Over the years, the Iveys continually demonstrate signs of their influence through their leadership and generosity in giving back to the community. Thanks to this passion for community building, the name of the Ivey family is synonymous with the School.
The Richard and Jean Ivey Fund donates a total of $1,250,000 to the second campus in Hong Kong, which enables the School to hire Asian case writers.
Since then the Ivey Business School’s Asia Management Institute has produced the largest number of Asia-Pacific cases in the world. The School is recognized as a world leader in management education, a position that Richard G. Ivey, and later his children, had in mind as they actively promoted and supported the School.
