As a Partner in PwC’s Deals practice, Alexa supports clients in formulating and executing on organic and inorganic growth strategies, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Alexa is part of a full-service transaction team covering strategy & planning, due diligence & valuation, structuring & modelling, value creation & maximization, integration & separation, and tax & financial advisory.
Alexa has amassed over 25 years of experience, expertise and thought leadership in corporate and business unit strategy, mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration, innovation and transformation. Alexa began her career with Kearney’s strategy and operations practice, where she focused on building the firm’s M&A and PMI capabilities. In 2007, she pursued her goals of entrepreneurship and went on to start, build and run several businesses. Alexa has been an avid supporter of the entrepreneurial ecosystem as a mentor to new and emerging businesses, and as an angel investor to a number of start-ups.
Over her career, Alexa has had the privilege of advising large enterprises as well as SMEs across diverse industries including financial services, industrial products, construction, telecommunications, travel, and various B2B & B2C industries. . She has led and executed numerous PMI engagements with multi-billion-dollar clients across various industries. Her journey has allowed her to drive results in global and boutique management consulting firms as well as growing and developing entrepreneurial ventures.
As Chair of Western Entrepreneurship Advisory Board and as a member of the Ivey Advisory Board, Alexa continues her long-standing commitment to the school. She has held roles in the Ivey Alumni Association, Ivey’s Women in Leadership and the LEADER Project. In addition, Alexa is an ICF Certified Profession Coach. She is a member of Women Get on Board and a past member of the MacKay CEO Forum, Women in Travel and Women in Capital Markets. Her charitable focus has been on supporting cancer prevention and underprivileged youth. Her volunteer contributions have included The Merit Award Bursary Program, Covenant House and The Learning Partnership.
A Montreal native, Alexa graduated from McGill University with a BA in Economics before obtaining an MBA with distinction from the Ivey Business School. She and her family enjoy outdoor activities including downhill & backcountry skiing, cottaging, canoeing and hiking.
