Alexa Nick values connection, curiosity, and creativity. These values guide both her personal and professional life and has enabled her to be a community builder focused on meaningful relationships, supported by an extensive network. 

Over her career, Alexa has provided advisory and consulting services to clients on strategy, value creation and transformation mandates while providing senior executives with high-impact leadership coaching.  Her journey has allowed her to drive results in global and boutique management consulting firms.  Alexa has launched, built, grown and managed a number of businesses and has supported the entrepreneurial ecosystem as an angel investor in a number of start-ups and as a mentor to new and emerging businesses. 

As a business leader, Alexa has amassed over 25 years of experience, expertise and thought leadership in corporate and business unit strategy, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, sales & marketing strategies, organizational performance, enterprise transformation and learning and enablement.  She has had the privilege of advising large enterprises as well as SMEs across diverse industries including financial services, industrial products, construction, telecommunications, travel, and various B2B & B2C industries.

Alexa is the Chair of Western Entrepreneurship Advisory Board and has a long history of contributions to Ivey, including the Ivey Alumni Association, Ivey’s Women in Leadership and the LEADER Project. In addition, Alexa is a certified ICF coach and a member of Women Get on Board as well as a past member of the MacKay CEO Forum, Women in Travel and Women in Capital Markets.   Her charitable focus has been on supporting cancer prevention and underprivileged youth.  Her volunteer contributions have included The Merit Award Bursary Program, Covenant House and The Learning Partnership.

A Montreal native, Alexa graduated from McGill with a BA in Economics before obtaining an MBA with distinction from the Ivey Business School. She and her family enjoy outdoor activities including downhill & backcountry skiing, cottaging, canoeing and hiking.
