Nan DasGupta is a Senior Advisor and Senior Partner Emeritus of the Boston Consulting Group, and the Chair of the Board of CivicAction.
Over her twenty-eight year consulting career at BCG, Nan’s client practice focused on strategy, organization, and transformation for financial services and consumer companies. In particular, she led design and execution of several large-scale strategic and organizational change programs. She held several firm leadership positions including the People Chair for BCG Canada, Leader of Women@BCG for North America, and the Canadian Leader of the People and Organization Practice.
Nan has done a significant amount of work in the social, non-profit and public impact sectors. She has tackled issues that include economic development, regional coordination, education and opportunities for disadvantaged youth. Aside from CivicAction, she is a director of the board of LEAP the Pecaut Centre for Social Impact, Canadian Women and Sports, and a member of the Ivey Advisory Board.
Prior to joining BCG, Nan worked at General Electric Company as an engineer in the Industrial Motors business. She received her MBA from the Ivey Business School, Masters of Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, and Honours Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from McGill University.
