June Cotte has taught marketing management and sales management courses, as well as research methods in business research in Ivey’s PhD program. She currently teaches marketing in Ivey’s Executive MBA and Accelerated MBA programs in Toronto, and also in several Ivey Academy programs. Her work experience includes marketing research and industrial sales analysis positions, and she has worked with Environment Canada; Innovation, Science, and Economic Development Canada; Magellan Aerospace; and Canada Goose.
June’s research interests focus on behavioral issues, including why and when people will pay more for ethically produced products, how people perceive time and how that influences their behavior at work and at leisure, family influence on behavior, and consumption issues in gambling. She has won several honors for her research, and her consumer research has been funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).
Recently June was announced as President-Elect of the Association for Consumer Research. She will serve a three year term on the Board of Directors beginning January 2020 as President-Elect, then President, then Past President.
