Ning Su
Professor Ning Su is a scholar and educator, with though leadership on global innovation and sourcing strategies, and qualitative research methods. His research explores the transformation of the global value chain, based on extensive interviews with key decision-makers across the diverse markets worldwide, and has been published in major journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and MIT Sloan Management Review.
Professor Su has taught in diverse programs, including EMBA, PhD, MBA, undergraduate, Executive Education, and case workshops for professors, practitioners, and policymakers worldwide. His students and audiences include managers and executives from the world’s largest and leading companies in sectors such as financial services, technology, consulting, and public organizations, such as Google, Amazon, McKinsey, Vivo, Oppo, KPMG, HSBC, Asian Institute of Finance in Malaysia, the Hong Kong Government, MTR, BOCHK, and CITIC Pacific. 
Professor Su has published over 60 Ivey teaching cases. Many are widely used by universities, public-sector organizations, and corporations worldwide. 
Professor Su has received the “40 Most Outstanding Business School Professors Under 40” from Poets&Quants, Strategic Management Society’s Teaching Community Rep-at-Large, the prestigious Inaugural Early Career Award from the Association for Information Systems, the Giarratani Rising Star Award runner up of the Industry Studies Association in the U.S., annual top-10 article recognition from the MIT Sloan Management Review, Best Article Awards from the Decision Sciences Institute and IBM Global Research, Ivey’s Early Career Impact Award, as well as Ivey and Western University’s teaching awards and commendations. 
Professor Su has worked at IBM in New York, and STAR, now part of Disney, in Hong Kong, and has advised a portfolio of multinational corporations, including Deloitte, AS Watson Group, and the Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation, and public-sector organizations.
