Dr. George Athanassakos has written the first ACADEMIC book on value investing titled “Value Investing: From Theory to Practice – A Guide to the Value Investing Process”. The book, that the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fairfax Financial Holding Ltd. Prem Watsa has called the "New Testament" to Ben Graham's "Old Testament", shows an analytical process to find and buy stocks that trade significantly below intrinsic value. Both the Paperback (for students) and the Hardcover (for public, at large) versions are now available for purchase!

The Ben Graham Centre for Value Investing (Europe), in collaboration with the Greek Centre for Value Investing, is holding its 4th European Value Investing Conference in Athens, Greece. The mission of the Conference is to promote the tenets of value investing as pioneered by Benjamin Graham, to expose Conference participants to the various value investing methods used by practitioners and to encourage and support academic research and study in the area of value investing.

The Ben Graham Centre for Value Investing will hold its annual International Stock Picking Competition, at the MBA level, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on April 7, 2025. Teams from MBA schools from around the world will compete for $14,000 CAD in cash prizes, as well as, free attendance to the Ben Graham Centre’s 2025 Value Investing Conference and the Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. Annual General Meeting, also held in Toronto.
