Which payment methods are accepted for donations? 

Ivey accepts the following payment methods for donations: 

•    Credit Card (either online, by telephone, or fax) 
•    Cheque
•    Money Order
•    Online Banking via your unique identification number
•    Telephone Banking via your unique identification number

Can I make a donation from outside Canada?

Yes. Ivey accepts international donations online, by mail, or by wire transfer. If you’re donating from the U.S., the U.K., or Hong Kong, please see our International Giving page for more details.

I don’t have my receipt for tax time – what can I do?

If you don’t have your donation tax receipt, please email iveyfund@ivey.ca and request a reprint. In order to expedite the process, please provide as much information as possible in your email, including the month and year your donation was made. 

How do I give a donation of publicly traded securities?

If you wish to give a gift of securities, we recommend first consulting your financial or tax advisor. Next, you and your broker can electronically transfer the gift into Western’s account using the securities forms provided by Advancement Operations. Indicate at the bottom of the form under “Purpose of the Gift” that you want your gift to go to Ivey Business School at Western University.

How can I leave a legacy gift?

You can create a lasting legacy via planned giving opportunities, such as bequests, gifts of life insurance, gifts of retirement assets, charitable gift annuities, and more. How do I know if my company will make a matching gift?

In order to find out if your employer offers matching gifts, you can search for them in Western’s Matching Gift database. If they appear, then you may request a matching gift from your employer, fill it out and sign it, and submit it with your gift. 

Can corporations make gifts?

Yes. If you are interested in making a corporate gift or sponsorship, please contact Laura Gawley, Associate Director of Corporate Philanthropy, at lgawley@ivey.ca.
