Awarded to a student with outstanding academic achievement in the HBA1 Operations Management Course. Preference will be given to a student taking an Operations elective in HBA2. The successful recipient is selected by the HBA Scholarship Committee in conjunction with Operations Faculty at the Ivey Business School. This award was made possible by a generous gift from Professors Albert R. and Vivian Wood through Foundation Western.
Meera Aggarwal
Awarded to a student completing his or her second year of the HBA Program at the Ivey Business School who has exhibited a strong interest in the field and academic success in Operations Management. The award recipient is selected by the Operations Management faculty. This award was established by friends, students, and colleagues of the late Bob Britney through Foundation Western.
Abigail Au
Awarded to a full-time HBA student at the Ivey Business School who takes four or more finance courses in his or her final year and who demonstrates outstanding ability in Finance. The recipient is selected by the Finance Area teaching group faculty at Ivey.
Geoffrey Xie
Awarded annually to an HBA2 student at the Ivey Business School at the end of his or her second year of the program. This student, like Adam, has demonstrated an enthusiastic attitude and approached class discussions with humour, intelligence, and tenacity. This student exhibited a fearless willingness to engage in good-hearted and spirited debate and made substantial contributions to class discussions, which enlivened and enhanced the learning atmosphere for his or her Section. The recipient will be nominated by his or her peers and selected by the HBA Scholarship Selection committee.
Michael Lee
Awarded annually to one student in HBA1, as well as one student in HBA2 at Ivey, who have been consistent and valuable contributors to classroom discussions, and the learning and development of their peers. The recipients must have a minimum average of 80%. The recipient was nominated by their peers and selected by the HBA Scholarship Selection committee. This award was established with a generous gift from Michael Block, HBA '07 and Stefanie Block (Chu), HBA '06.
Mila Gracic
This award was established by the Advisory Council of the Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership to recognize Gerard for his 12 years of exemplary and dedicated leadership while serving as the Institute’s Executive Director. Gerard’s impact and many contributions to the research and development of leader character is a lasting legacy for the Institute and Ivey. Awarded to a graduating HBA student in the Ivey Business School who has demonstrated exemplary leader character throughout their program with consideration of academic achievement. Nominations are solicited from both faculty and classmates. The Ivey HBA program, in consultation with the Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership, will select the recipients.
