Kathy Woods
Partner, Future Ready Organization, Deloitte Canada (retired)

As a partner in Deloitte’s Canadian Human Capital Consulting practice, Kathy leads the firm’s Future Ready Organization offering in Canada. She is focused on working with leaders, their organizations and their people to build the agile organizations with the people and talent they need to thrive in today’s disrupted environment – quickly and successfully.

Kathy built Deloitte’s Canadian Leadership business from a nascent practice to what is now a thriving business focused on all aspects of building strong leaders. This includes creating leadership strategy, leadership development at all levels, leadership assessment and succession planning. She has led large leadership initiatives for clients across industries, including with some of Canada’s largest financial services and energy companies.

Recently, Kathy has been spearheading research and engagements to understand the connection between wellbeing and performance, with a specific focus on senior leadership teams.

With over 30 years of experience, Kathy has expertise in strategic facilitation, talent management, change management, diversity and inclusion, organizational effectiveness and culture. She brings her experience as a global HR executive and line business leader to help organizations build their own talent and leadership agendas and drive transformative change – all from a pragmatic perspective with a strong results focus.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Kathy held various leadership positions at Korn Ferry and was previously with MICA Management Resources and Accenture. Kathy is a member of the board for Climbing Escalade Canada, served on the ALS Society of Ontario Board of Directors, was a committee member for the Canadian Women’s Society Women Moving Women campaign and is an active mentor of women in the workplace. She enjoys outdoor activities, especially skiing and climbing, and ideally when pursued with her husband and adult daughter.
