Why did you decide to return to Ivey to do your MBA?

I was hitting an inflection point in my career where I was beginning to get catapulted into more managerial and leadership experiences. I knew that an MBA, specifically at Ivey, really knew how to teach and help students hone their leadership skills. And so, it made sense to pursue my MBA in order to make that inflection point in my career journey that much more impactful.

What is the most significant or surprising difference you've experienced in your MBA journey from your HBA journey?

Definitely the people! Even though I'm in the same building, being surrounded by people with a variety of experiences makes the the discussions with classmates inside and outside of the classroom so much more exciting. Everyone has spent a few years working on what they're passionate about, and it provides extraordinary insight as you try to figure out what's next for you post-MBA.

Ivey in a few words: Please share what your Ivey experience is to you!

Eye opening! Graduating in the early days of the pandemic, the beginning of my full-time career was spent at home and on Zoom calls. It's refreshing to be back in an environment where I'm meeting new people everyday and learning from esteemed faculty and experienced classmates from across the world!
