Ivey Professor and Executive Director of the Network for Business Sustainability (NBS) Tima Bansal wrote for The Globe and Mail on the significance of business sustainability in the corporate world.
NBS recently conducted research that looked at leading Canadian companies devoted to sustainability and the challenges they face.
“Whereas most business dialogue is around competitive advantage, sustainability requires new ways of thinking and doing,” said Bansal. “It requires working together to manage natural resources and finding collective – not competitive – solutions to problems.”
Bansal encourages business leaders to look at sustainability not as a limitation, but as an opportunity for our future.
