In his op-ed for India’s Economic Times, Professor Niraj Dawar examined how “big ideas” revolutionize the corporate world. Dawar cited three main sources that stimulate big ideas.
The first is new markets, the second involves new ways of conceptualizing competitive advantage, and the third and newest source is emerging technology.
“Big data, robotics and 3D printing allow you to do things that you just couldn't do before,” said Dawar. “They will change the economics of many industries but a really big guru is yet to emerge in these fields.”
