Student blogger Adam Beswick says the design of a physical space “influences how we feel, express ourselves, and think.” Beyond that, it can help patients’ well being.
“Hospitalized patients who have access to natural light and green spaces achieve better health outcomes, largely attributed to the benefits of these environments on blood pressure, heart activity, muscle tension, and brain electrical activity,” he writes.
