The Toronto Humane Society has crafted a video for PuppySwap, a company that promises an easy way to trade in your old dog for a brand new puppy. It's a fake ad, but deals with a real issue.
The video encourages pet owners to abandon their dogs when they're bored or tired of them. If you're angered and upset about that idea, Toronto Humane Society has succeeded. The point of the video is to get an emotional reaction, Ivey professor Matt Thomson says. “It’ll engage by getting the blood boiling," he says.
