After reaching #1 in Bloomberg Businessweek’s ranking of the top international MBA programs for two years a row, Ivey has garnered some media attention.
Poets & Quants featured Ivey’s results, highlighting the School’s 92 per cent placement rate in 2014, and its top ranking for the highest starting salary among Canadian b-school grads for 16 years running.
Also featured was Ivey’s impressive number of international students in this year’s MBA class. Just 47 per cent of the class was born in Canada, with the remaining students coming from 23 birth countries and speaking 26 different languages.
Sharon Irwin-Foulon, Executive Director, Career Management and Corporate Recruiting for Ivey, spoke with Poets & Quants to share her admiration for the students.
“Ivey’s MBA class of 2016 is here because they are so much more than their credentials,” said Irwin-Foulon. “Sure, they have interesting work experiences, but there is a depth to their stories, to where they want to go, and what they want to accomplish.”
