Canada 2020, an independent progressive think-tank, conducted a recent panel discussion in Ottawa on the role government should play in the economy, especially related to job losses in manufacturing.
Assistant Professor Mike Moffatt served as a panellist and discussed the need for innovation in Canada’s manufacturing sector.
Moffatt said the government needs to factor in how it invests in training programs.
