According to a recent survey by MasterCard, online shopping in Canada rose 20 per cent during the holiday period in comparison to last year, making up close to 10 per cent of all retail sales.
Professor Emeritus Ken Hardy discussed with The London Free Press the rising popularity and credibility of online shopping.
“The logistics work pretty well. The promised delivery times are real. The big-box malls have crowds, lineups and parking problems. It’s easier just to order online,” said Hardy.
