Ann Frost | Half of Millennials are looking to change careers this year

According to a new study of working Canadians by ADP Canada, more than half of Millennials would like to change jobs, start their own business, or go back to school this year.

Associate Professor Ann Frost told Yahoo Finance she doesn’t think this result is a generational trend (e.g. Millennials versus baby boomers or Generation X ). It’s simply that the 18-34-year-old demographic is more risk-taking.

“It seems to me it’s in the early stages of careers when people are trying to figure out what skills they need, what they’re good at and they’re going to get that piece of paper to do it,” said Frost.
