There were a variety of international professionals in the Ivey MBA Class of 2012 – and one lone farmer, Steve Koeckhoven.
Koeckhoven is profiled in Country Guide, where he challenges the stereotype of what a leader is. He says the MBA Program taught him the importance of teamwork, listening, and communicating and credits his classmates for their diverse perspectives, coming from different industries, backgrounds, and countries.
“My experience in agriculture is lifelong, and the MBA has definitely helped me weave my way through my career off-farm and on the farm,” Koeckhoven says.
