Bringing an aging stadium into the 21st century is no easy task. It takes plenty of vision and bold ideas. Thankfully, Ivey students have both.

Ivey HBA students tested the limits of their creativity at the third annual Deloitte Innovation Forum and came up with new, innovative concepts to improve the fan experience at the Rogers Centre, the home of the Toronto Blue Jays.

Some of their ideas were featured in Toronto Life and CBC Sports, including virtual reality headset stations, wearable wristbands to pay for concessions, and a new glassed seating arrangement called "The Nest." The concept is similar to the clear observation deck at the CN Tower.

“I know I’d come to the Rogers Centre if I could watch the game from a bird’s eye view, and feel like I’m standing on top of the game,” says HBA1 student Habib Jaffer.
