Assistant Professor Mike Moffatt analyzed the numbers, and says the Progressive Conservative (PC) plan, touted by Ontario PC Leader Doug Ford, would eventually run larger deficits than both the NDP and Liberals.

“The promises add to about $7 billion a year in tax cuts and spending,” says Moffatt. “And it’s not clear where that $7 billion is going to come from.”
Based on the information made public so far, Moffatt predicts the Conservatives would have the steepest deficits, and NDP the lowest.
