Two teams of HBA students are among the 10 finalists for Canada’s Next Top Ad Exec, a Canada-wide marketing and advertising case competition.
Tom Grainger and Corrine Tansowny make up one two-person team while Michelle Osei-Bonsu and Emily Zhou the other. All four students are HBA ’17 candidates.
Teams will compete to pitch a marketing campaign to the competition’s lead sponsor. The students have been working on their big ideas since registration opened in November. So far, they’ve successfully completed the first two phases: the elevator pitch and the strategy document.
The final phase is scheduled for Monday, March 27, when the top 10 teams will present their ideas in Toronto to a panel of 25 judges.
Canada’s Next Top Ad Exec also serves as a powerful networking opportunity. The students meet with industry experts, professors, competition sponsors, and other Top Ad competitors from across the country.
