Ivey has been named the top Canadian school for MBA programs for finance and among the top 50 in the world.
The Financial Times released its new ranking for the Top 50 MBAs for Finance today, ranking business schools from around the world. Canadian schools ranked in this year’s list include Ivey (44th), Rotman (45th), and Queen’s (50th).
The Financial Times surveyed the MBA Class of 2013 to calculate the first of two ranking categories: Alumni Career Progress (weighted 60 per cent) and Alumni in Finance (weighted 15 per cent). The other two categories include Diversity (weighted 15 per cent) and Research (weighted 10 per cent).
Ivey received the top scores among Canadian schools for all six measures of Alumni Career Progress:

- Value for Money
- Career Progress
- Career Services
- Aims Achieved
Notably, Ivey ranked 16th for Value for Money, beating out seven of the top 10 schools in this ranking including Stanford, Harvard, Stern, and Wharton.
