On Saturday, October 5, HBA1 students invited their families to experience a day in the life an Ivey student. More than 800 people attended the event.
The day started off with self-guided tours around campus. Students and their families then had the chance to hear from Ivey faculty as they provided an overview of HBA1 courses.
An official welcome took place in the BMO Auditorium, including addresses from Mary Weil, Faculty Director of the HBA Program; Dean Sharon Hodgson; and alumni speakers, Mary-Ann Cocchetto, HBA '91, and Sante Corona, HBA '89.
After a luncheon and meet-the-faculty break, family members were put to the challenge with a case discussion. Students were able to watch their families participate through live streaming.
