November 15 marks National Philanthropy Day and is a chance to recognize the many generous individuals whose contributions make a transformative impact on the research, education, and community at Ivey.
In the video above, students from several Ivey programs discuss the many ways that philanthropic support; such as scholarships, alumni engagement, or volunteer initiatives; has helped them to succeed and inspires them to give back.
Here’s what our students are saying:
Philanthropy is very personal to me because it has positively impacted my life and my future … I want to give back in as many ways as I can in the future inside and outside of Ivey. Thank you for inspiring the next generation of Ivey alumni.”
– Julia Devereux, HBA ’24 candidate
As a Nigerian coming into Canada for the first time, my interactions with alumni have really helped me to understand the landscape a lot better … I’m very inspired to pay it forward when I finish here at Ivey. Thank you for the ways your generosity has impacted my Ivey experience.”
– Omoefe Eromosele, MBA ’23 candidate
Every single thing that is a part of the Ivey experience is as a result of the donor community … The one message I’d have for the Ivey community is just to impress upon everyone how important it is for support, whether it be financial or volunteer support. Thank you for making a difference.”
