Ivey’s incoming Accelerated MBA (AMBA) participants had a chance to connect with their classmates and learn about the remarkable learning journey that lies ahead at a welcome reception last night at the Toronto Board of Trade.
The AMBA Class of 2025 includes 51 professionals from a variety of industries, roles, and backgrounds who were born in countries ranging from Bahrain to Zimbabwe.
Associate Professor Adam Fremeth, HBA ’00, Faculty Director of Ivey’s AMBA and MBA programs, greeted the participants at the event and shared what makes the program special.
“The kickoff for the 2025 Accelerated MBA cohort is a momentous event for our new students and the School as Ivey enters its second century as a leading business school. The AMBA’s unique blended learning design has proven to deliver a transformative experience that allows working professionals to quickly put classroom lessons into action and make important contributions to their organizations,” he said. “I'm excited to get to know this group and see them grow through the year and beyond.”
The AMBA class will begin the online portion of the program in November and meet again in January for a week-long residential session. Here’s a look at the class by the numbers.
