Providing well-reasoned advice to solve intricate business challenges is no easy task, especially under tight deadlnes. This is exactly what Ivey HBA1 students were asked to do for the 29th annual Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Case Competition.
Acting as a team of advisors, the students were asked to address two business strategy cases: one focused on healthcare technology and the other on fast fashion. In only a few short hours and in teams of five, the students researched and analyzed the problem and developed a recommendation to present to a panel of judges.
This case competition, which is part of the Learning Through Action course, gives HBA1 students the opportunity to take what they have learned in the program so far and apply their knowledge to real-world situations.
