Jeff has dedicated over 16 years to nurturing sustainable local food economies across Southwestern Ontario. As a founder and driving force behind initiatives like On The Move Organics, The Root Cellar Organic Restaurant, London Brewing, LOLA Bees, and the Community Food Box Project, Jeff has consistently worked to connect and strengthen the links between food system stakeholders. Throughout his career, Jeff has focused on creating and fostering resilient, ecologically sustainable, and socially just supply chains.
Jeff brings extensive experience in project management, circular economy, business development, and fostering innovative collaborations across diverse communities. His efforts have earned him collaborative and professional recognition, including most recently: London Environmental Network’s Community Impact Award (2024), Middlesex London Food Policy Council's Food System Champion Award (2023), and Green Economy London's Sustainability Champion Award (2019).
With a passion for finding solutions that bridge gaps in the regional food supply chain, Jeff continues to advocate for a more sustainable, regenerative, and resilient agricultural system. His deep understanding of the complexities of moving food from farm to table—arguably one of the most intricate and misunderstood supply chains—drives his commitment to building networks centred around regenerative agriculture. Jeff is excited to bring his knowledge, passion and experience to the Collective Action Program for Sustainable Agriculture team at Ivey’s Centre for Building Sustainable Value.
