The Ivey MBA program has been included in the Top 25 globally for integrating sustainability and corporate responsibility, according to the 2020 Better World MBA Rankings published by Corporate Knights magazine.
The Better World MBA Ranking evaluates business schools drawn primarily from the most recent Financial Times list of Top 100 Global MBA programs. The evaluation criteria includes integration of sustainability into core course curriculum, faculty research and citations in sustainability, as well as faculty gender and racial diversity.
Ivey has been a longstanding leader in integrating sustainability considerations into the curriculum. The Ivey MBA includes the ‘Prospering for the Long-Term’ course, which has won the Aspen Institute’s prestigious Ideas Worth Teaching Award. This course, led by Ivey Professor Tima Bansal, discusses the long-term and societal implications of core business topics in the MBA program through an innovative co-teaching design.
