Julia is an urban planning student with a background in business and media studies. She has always been passionate about sustainable development but first became interested in urban planning after learning about the large role that cities play in CO2 emissions. She believes that greener cities are necessary but that they must be developed with an equity lens in mind as well.

In the past, she has worked at the Centre for Building Sustainable Value at Ivey where she supported the planning and execution of all sustainability-related activities. She loves working with students and always welcomes an opportunity to chat with students who are interested in sustainability.

Julia holds an HBA from the Ivey Business School as well as a BA in Media, Information, and Technoculture at Western University. She is currently completed her Master’s in Planning at X University.
