Megan believes that by strengthening our connection to nature, we can build a more sustainable world. By helping people experience nature, they will grow to support and take part in its protection. Megan's passion for connecting people to nature has led her to pursue a career at the intersection of tourism and conservation at the national level working for the Parks Canada Agency. Since 2016, Megan has supported the development of Parks Canada's national outreach programs that aim to educate and inspire young Canadians to experience our country's nature and history. Her work focuses on youth engagement and digital outreach, using social media to leverage youth voices to empower their peers to connect with nature and become conservation champions.
An alumni of the sustainability certificate program, Megan holds a dual degree in Honours Business Administration from Ivey Business School and Media, Information and Technoculture from Western University. With the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro and a visit to Everest Base Camp under her belt, Megan is always looking for a new adventure.
