On Wednesday November 9, 2016, from 1:00-2:00pm in Room 1220, the Ivey FinTech Club invites its members, as well as Ivey HBA, MBA, and MSc students, to come find out more about Blockchain, the underlying technology and it's various applications.
To chair the event, we have invited Duncan Brown, CEO of Distributed ID (DIID) to share his insights on Blockchain's potential. Duncan is a recent Western Software Engineering Graduate and is currently working on the application of Blockchain within the financial industry. Duncan and his team recently won $20,000 at the Distributed: Trade conference in St. Louis (https://godistributed.com/articles/distributed-identity-project-wins-k-hackathon-prize-at-distributed-trade-conference/).
