On March 27th students from the Ivey FinTech Club travelled to Toronto to visit Scotiabank Digital Factory, the internal innovation hub for Scotiabank. Students had the opportunity to tour the office and network with Ivey alumni working as product managers for Digital Factory. Some of the highlights of the trip included discussing the projects that the Digital Factory is working on, seeing how the product owners are contributing to the projects, and seeing the vibrant office space complete with a bowling alley. The students who attended the trip were thankful for the opportunity to see the office and chat with employees, and are looking forward to the next office visit organized by the FinTech Club.
